Safe Medication Disposal Unit 

Township of Cranbury residents are encouraged to utilize the Safe Medication Disposal Unit located within the lobby of Police Headquarters at 1 Logan Drive.

In conjunction with KidCents & The Rite Aid Foundation, a metal disposal unit mirroring a USPS Mailbox is installed and available for use weekdays, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This disposal unit is set up to place unwanted or expired medications in the dropbox to help prevent dangerous accidents within the household.

Accepted medications are any prescribed medications (Schedule II-V controlled and non-controlled substances) and any over-the-counter medications. Common dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, ointments and patches.

Unacceptable items are illegal drugs, needles, lotions or liquids, inhalers, aerosol cans, thermometers and hydrogen peroxide.
