Cranbury Board of Recreation Commission is dedicated to improving the physical, educational, cultural, athletic and social quality of life for all Cranbury citizens. To promote this mission, the Commission provides affordable year round youth, adult, senior and family oriented recreational programs, community events and facilities.

General Information

The Cranbury Township Recreation Department is requesting that all patrons of the Cranbury Senior Center fill out a registration form annually.

The Board of Recreation Commissioners was established by the Township Committee in 1961. The Board is responsible for providing, conducting and supervising recreational activities in the Township. This body is also empowered to adopt and enforce rules concerning to use of Brainerd Lake for sport activities.

The Board consists of seven regular members and two alternates who are residents of Cranbury. They are appointed by the Mayor to serve five year terms. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term of office so vacated.

Meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday, unless noticed otherwise, in the Meeting Room, starting at 7:00 p.m.
