The Zoning Board of Adjustment is established pursuant to N.J.S.A.40:55D-70. The Board is responsible for hearing appeals regarding decisions or actions of the Township Zoning Officer, interpreting the zoning ordinance and zoning map, reviewing applications or hearing appeals for variances from the zoning ordinance.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment is comprised of seven regular members (four-year term) and two alternates (no more than two-year term). All members are appointed by the Township Committee and must be residents of Cranbury.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets on the first Wednesday of the month in the Meeting Room, Town Hall, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
