The Parks Commission is an advisory commission, which was established to monitor, review and recommend active and passive recreational facility plans to the Township Committee. The Commission focuses on recreational site development.

The Commission is appointed by the Township Committee and is made up of seven regular members and two alternates. Initial appointments are made for terms of four, three, two and one year, then three years thereafter; remaining members are one year terms and alternates are one year terms. The Parks Commission meets in the Gourgaud Gallery on the second Wednesday of each month (except August) at 8:45 AM.
