TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
The regular
meeting of the Cranbury Township Human Services Board was held in Town Hall on
January 18, 2006, at 7:00 p.m.
CALL TO ORDER
With a
quorum present, Rosemary Seghatoleslami, Chairwoman of the Cranbury Township
Human Services Board, called the meeting to order and acted as the Chairwoman
thereof, and Kristen H. Hamilton acted as Recording Secretary of the meeting.
MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE
Marie Dey,
John Ritter and Rosemary
Seghatoleslami.
NON-MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE
Mayor Thomas Panconi.
MINUTES
The minutes
of the November 16, 2005 meeting were reviewed and approved.
WORK SESSION
Social
Services Report – Rosemary read Jan Bayern’s report, which stated that
Cranbury hasn’t had any activity so far this quarter. Jan’s report addressed the Emergency
Management Plan; however, the Human Services Board feels the Plan falls under
the jurisdiction of the Police Department.
Rosemary will contact Jan for more clarification.
Discussion
–
Mayor
Panconi will try to get additional members for the Human Services Board.
John Ritter inquired if there was an interest in having an AARP Driver’s Safety Course.
It was agreed that the next Human Services Board meeting will be held on February 15, 2006.
ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING
There being
no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
