TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
The regular meeting of the Cranbury Township Zoning Board of Adjustment was held at the Township Hall (Old School Building) Main Meeting Room, 23-A North Main Street, Cranbury, New Jersey, on January 3, 2007, at 7:30 p.m.
CALL TO ORDER
Josette C. Kratz, Secretary, of the Cranbury Township Zoning Board of Adjustment, called the meeting to order and acted as the Chairman until appointment was made.
STATEMENT OF ADEQUATE NOTICE
Pursuant of the Sunshine Law adequate notice in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act was provided of this meeting’s date, time, place and agenda was mailed to the news media, posted on the Township’s Bulletin Board, mailed to those requesting personal notice, and filed with the municipal clerk.

Mr. Goodell swore in David & Pamela Mayers. Along the one side the want to put up a privacy fence. Their property has five places where it faces the/a road. Where they have the children swing set they didn’t wan to see all the cement trucks and other trucks driving down Old Trenton Road. It is next to the neighbor’s lot along the driveway. Their lot was considered a through lot which had neither a true front yard nor rear yard. She said that 90% of her yard wherever one stands one can see Old Trenton Road. Old Trenton Road is a very busy road. There have been meetings with the Township directing the traffic issue.
There were no public comments made.
Applicant was willing to install landscaping. The corner that was the most far-existing towards the Old Trenton Road side they would put arborvitae, possible (6) six. Mr. Smith felt that would be appropriate, and stated five with the emphasis on Trenton Roadside of the extension of the fence. That would allow the applicant to move them around (maybe 2 here and 3 there) or evening spacing them.
Mr. Smith felt hat the fact that this is only for the extent that the owners are greatest impacted, the neighbors conceded to this, they limited the length could be worked into the resolution.
The straw vote was in favor of the approval of the application.
There would be five arborvitae strategically placed to buffer the view of the fence from Old Trenton Road and Minimal height of four (4) feet.
Mr. Shea motioned for the approval of the application as noted. Mr. Lehr seconded the motion.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Mr. Smith announced that the members needed to go for their mandatory member training. Mr. Smith also asked Mr. Goodell if he would do an in-house training session. Mr. Goodell agreed he would.
ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the meeting was thereupon adjourned 8:30 p.m.
