                    a)       Report on Affordable Housing (Mark Berkowsky)

Mark Berkowsky, Cranbury Housing Associates, will discuss with the Township Committee, the Township’s affordable housing projects.     

                     b)      Awards Program

This is a follow-up discussion with the Township Committee and the Township Attorney, Ms. Waterbury regarding the establishment of an AdHoc Awards Program for volunteers.  Ms. Waterbury was asked by the Township Committee to research other municipalities’ programs.

Possible Resolution # R 10-07- 176 – Resolution establishing  the “Cranbury Township Youth Volunteer Service Award program” pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-18.

c)       Request For Hazardous Route Evaluation

 The Township Administrator will discuss the process for responding to a letter from Chief School Administrator, John Haney, requesting an evaluation. 

d)      Pole Relocation Cost Estimate

The Township Administrator will discuss with the Township Committee the cost of removal of poles on the Wright South Property.

e).     Dam Inspection

                              The Township Administrator will review the costs for the dam

                              Inspection and ask for Township Committee approval.

CRANBURY TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE 10-07-12 –AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CRANBURY, IN MIDDLESEX COUNTY,

NEW JERSEY, REPLACING IN ITS ENTIRETY EXISTING CHAPTER 120 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CRANBURY, ENTITLED

“RECYCLYING,” WITH NEW CHAPTER 120 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CRANBURY, ENTITLED “RECYCLING. (Second Reading  November 1, 2007, 6:00 p.m.).

            a)   Resolution # R 10-07-169 – Payment of Bills

b)   Resolution # R 10-07-170 – Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute a Professional Services Agreement between the Township of Cranbury and R&D Consulting, PMB 143, 957 Route 33, Hamilton Square, N.J. 08690-2727, for computer consulting services.

c)  Resolution # R 10-07-171 – Resolution concerning the Township of Cranbury’s request to the County of Middlesex to establish a “No Passing Zone” along Cranbury Neck Road from Symmes Court to Wynnewood Drive.

d)   Resolution # R 10-07-172 – Resolution providing for the insertion of a special Item of Revenue in the Municipal Budget of the Township of Cranbury pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:4-87 (Chapter 159, P.L. 1948) for Aggressive Driving in the amount of $10,000.

e) Resolution # R 10-07-173 – Resolution authorizing the release of extra duty escrow.

f)  Resolution # R 10-07-174 – Resolution authorizing the release of a Performance Guarantee for Gordon Exit 8A (Block 1, Lot 4).

MOTION:  Approval of Raffle Application for Cranbury Lions Club to conduct a

                    Raffle on December 2, 2007.
