CRANBURY HISTORICAL &
PRESERVATION SOCIETY

Dozens of people turned out for special events hosted by the Cranbury Historical & Preservation Society in May to celebrate National Preservation Month, inform more Cranbury residents about the Society's mission and activities, and boost membership.

Society volunteers guided Cranbury School fourth graders on tours of Historic Cranbury; staged a needlecraft exhibition and a reenactment of Joseph Borden at the Cranbury Museum on May 15 and 22; opened a new dairy exhibit at the Museum; hosted a table at the Cranbury School Drug-Free Fair on May 20; participated in a Memorial Day ceremony conducted by the reenactors of Company H of the 14th NJ Regiment at the Civil War Memorial in the First Presbyterian Church’s cemetery; and entered a float, featuring the Cranbury-inspired art of Nadine Berkowsky, in the Township parade.

As the following calendar of events shows, there will be many more opportunities to participate in the Society’s efforts this year, from the traditional July 5 celebration, through Cranbury Day, our bi-annual House Tour in October, and an Anniversary Dinner in November, culminating with the annual Christmas Tea. We hope you will be able to join us.
