RECYCLE SHED

Closed on January 1, 2016 due to legal holiday.
Open again on second Friday of the month, January 8, 2016

Located at 100 Dey Road (DPW Yard), the shed is open the 1st Friday of the month.  Should this day be a legal holiday, the shed will open on the 2nd Friday that month.  Hours of operation are 9am to 12pm.  The collection of electronic e-cycle / e-waste items is a free service and provided for Cranbury residents only.  Proof of residency may be requested.
Click here http://www.anjr.com/images/graphics/Blue-logo-th.jpgfor a list of items accepted at the Recycle Shed.  Cranbury Township will collect and responsibly recycle these items.  Please adhere to the list.  A fine will be assessed by the vendor to Cranbury for any non-acceptable items mixed in with the load.

In addition to the list of acceptable items, the below items will be collected and recycled at the shed while open:

  • formed polystyrene (no food containers or packing peanuts)
  • mercury filled items (thermometers, thermostats, switches, etc.)
  • fluorescent bulbs – compact and tube bulbs (no longer than 4’) 

Media e-waste (CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, button and rechargeable batteries) can be brought to the DPW office in Town Hall during business hours.  To ask about recycling, call 609-395-0900*229.
