TIME AND PLACE
The meeting of the Cranbury Township Historic Preservation Commission was held in Town Hall, Cranbury, New Jersey, on February 6, 2007 beginning at 7:30 pm.
STATEMENT OF ADEQUATE NOTICE
Pursuant of the Sunshine Law, adequate notice in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-5) was provided on January 2, 2007 of this meeting’s date, time, place and agenda was mailed to the news media, posted on the Township bulleting board, mailed to those requesting personal notice and filed with the Municipal Clerk.
CALL TO ORDER
Without a quorum present, Bobbie Marlowe; Chair of the Commission, called the meeting to order and Linda M. Scott performed as Secretary.
MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE
Alana Stops and Bobbie Marlowe, Chair, were present. Both Diane Stasi and Harry Williams informed secretary that will be unable to attend this meeting.
20 Maplewood Avenue, (B33,L22) In Historic District, Class C; an application for a full glass storm door to be installed on the front entrance of home was received for review at the last meeting, but was moved to the February 6 agenda at the homeowners’ request. Prior to discussion, it was stated due to no quorum; Diane Stasi will listen to the taped meeting on February 7 to render her decision on this application. Diane emailed her comments and recommendations, which were handed to Bobbie Marlowe for consideration.
Sean Deverin, homeowner, was present to discuss the design and installation for a front entry storm door. He has selected and supplied a specification sheet for a Pella storm door. The main purpose of this storm door is for energy and insulation purposes. The overall appearance has full view clear glass with a white frame with no kick plate. The handle will match the existing porch fixtures color scheme.

3 Westminster Place, (B29,L8 & 9) In Historic District, Class H; new owner, Don Davidson was present to discuss conceptual designs regarding installation of a new window, replacement design of an existing box bay window, and the enclosure of the existing screened porch to included windows and a storm door.
Homeowner supplied photos of the existing area where he proposes to replace the box bay triple casement window with a box bay double casement window (Anderson 400 series CXW25). The HPC in attendance is fine with the window plan.
After discussion of window styles for the installation regarding a new window on the rear of home, a double hung 6/9 with shutters to replicate the front of house windows was agreed upon. Doing so will be in keeping with the existing rear house windows with shutters.

Applicant would like to convert the existing side/rear screened porch to serve as a 9 month porch. He proposed to install windows with a more secure door. A wall below the window line will be constructed, cedar siding will match existing.
Applicant will make formal application with the ideas discussed for submission for the March 6th HPC meeting.
ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING
There being no further business, a motion duly made by Bobbie Marlowe, seconded by Alana Stops and carried, the meeting was thereupon adjourned.
