constructed in the left rear corner of his property. The double door Dutch barn style shed with a cupola
will have white horizontal vinyl siding.
A citizen spoke of the shed location stating that it will be situated in
a cluster other neighboring sheds. HPAC
approved this application, all in favor.
Architect
Dick Schroeder was present to discuss Monroe Medical Supply Building (ZBA068-03) (B18.02,L18) for the renovation of the
exterior of this existing structure.
Plans include removal of the existing one front garage door to be
replaced with windows. A man door will
be installed in place of the existing rear garage door. Landscaping will be installed. Windows will be replaced. Vinyl siding will be installed over the
existing concrete exterior. The plans
were reviewed. HPAC approved this
application with a comment that a simple stucco appearance is preferred.
Application
made for Thomas Weidner, 28 North Main St., (B32,L10) regarding the re-roofing
of the front porch on this Contributing (C) Historic District structure. It is proposed to remove the existing shingled
roof and replace it with a 1” standing seam copper roof. HPAC discussed the 1” standing seam, all
concur that this is not appropriate and suggested that a flat seam would be
more appropriate for the age and style of this property. Don Jo informed HPAC that the he and the homeowner
discussed the flat seam issue prior to making application. HPAC reviewed, discussed and denied this
application. HPAC would approve a flat
seam copper roof.
