APPLICATIONS

Marie Wanat, owner 19 Liedtke Drive, B21.03, L2; Adrienne Kemp, friend was also present for this application.  Marie would like to add three windows side by side on the south side elevation above a side door.  Windows should be trimmed out as one unit and match all other windows.  Roof will be standing seam metal as previously approved.  Application approved by all.

DISCUSSION

John Perez, architect for 50 Maplewood Avenue was scheduled to come before HPAC to discuss ideas for the existing house.  Secretary gave him file photos of structure as of 1989 and the written brief from the Heritage Studies.  He did not call to cancel nor did he show.  Secretary will call John and will try to reschedule him for the agenda.  HPAC would recommend removing, if any, the siding and try to discern the shadow lines, such as a porch on this structure.  Richard Grubb offered to review historic maps that he could access.

Bobbie called Kate Marcopul of the NJDEP regarding the façade easement at 147 Plainsboro Road.  Kate indicated that many members of the department staff have been on vacation and that they will soon start the reviewing process.  The slated property will be auctioned on October 7, 2004.  Bobbie will call Richard or Trishka to give them a heads up on this situation.

Diane Stasi discussed Cape Mays Historic Ordinance and the strictness that it entails.  She stated that under no circumstance could a homeowner remove any board, fence or detail without consulting the local government.
