APPLICATIONS

139 Plainsboro Road,  (B23,L17) In Surround Zone;  Owner, Deepa Jose was present for discussion of the proposed front porch railing.  Ms. Jose was uncertain of the many details asked of HPAC.  After discussion of different options for the railing, HPAC feels that more details will be required.  It was explained, to prevent any confusion before the project begins, the contractor should supply these on a drawing indicating the details.  HPAC denied this application, all in agreement.

14 Prospect Street, (B28,L15) In Historic District;  This returning application (denied on February 7) was modified so both proposed arbors are the same style.  It is noted that flat top pergola arbors of the same style and design will be installed on the north and south sides of the existing house.  This application was reviewed and approved, all in favor.

11 Perrine Lane, (B18.04,L6) In Surround Zone;  Application for fence design received on February 17.  Proposed is for a rear yard installation that includes two 4’ wide gates.  HPAC reviewed, discussed and approved this application, with all in favor.

DISCUSSION

Alana Stops was available to attend the meeting.  Introductions were made with each member.  Copies of each application were made for Alana so she would be able to follow along with the HPAC application process.

While reviewing the past meeting minutes regarding 99 North Main Street, Harry recalls that there are no garages that face or so close to the Main Street, except for this garage.  This is true for the entire length from South Main at Rt.130 to North Main at Rt. 130  Bobbie informed all present that the garage proximity was a decision that the was made by another board.  Homeowner made final location decision.  The construction official has not  performed an inspection of this site; the homeowner did not call to have an inspection.
