Volunteer Projects

Trail Maintenance: Maintain and repair the Eagle Trail in the Cranbury Brook Preserve. Remove encroaching and overhanging branches, and restore the trail surface. Check out and repair the benches, signs, and birdhouses.

Gates and Signs: Install gates or chains to prevent motor vehicles from driving through the Preserve. Install signs by each gate saying “No Motor Vehicles”.

Kiosks: Design and construct three informational kiosks directing people to the Preserve. Install them on North Main Street near the driveway to the West Property; on the south side of Cranbury Brook, near the firehouse; and at Unami Woods. Include space for a large map of the Preserve, and rainproof boxes to hold a brochure about the property.

Storm-Drain Markers: Continue the labeling of storm drains with "Do Not Dump" markers.
