Pete Sibley advised he would not be present at the November EC meeting.  Since the EC does not anticipate any additional Agenda items that are not being addressed at tonight’s meeting, it was decided that the November meeting would be cancelled.  If any applications need to be reviewed by the EC prior to the December meeting, they will be forwarded to Jim Gallagher, who will provide comments to Dave Stout and Jim Golubieski.

The EC reviewed the calendar for 2006 meeting dates.  2006 meetings will be held on the third Monday of the month with the exception of January and February, which will be held on the third Tuesday due to the Mondays being holidays.

Pete informed the EC that there is a meeting scheduled between the Township and Envirocraft regarding the Wright South soil remediation on October 19th at 3:00 pm.

Cranbury Brook Preserve – Jim Applegate continues to contact the Natural Resources Conservation Service on a bi-weekly basis.

Pete had a conversation with a representative from the New Jersey Audubon Society regarding the Howarth barn and its possible use to the Society.

The Director of the Plainsboro Preserve is coming in December to walk through CBP.

Dave Stout expressed his desire to honor Al Meese, who was instrumental in Cranbury’s preservation of Unami Woods and other areas, and asked the EC to think about ways to do so, i.e. possibly naming a trail in CBP.

Pete advised that he has received calls regarding the debris build-up by the dam in Brainerd Lake.  Does the EC have any ideas or suggestions to get rid of it?

Stream-Corridor Ordinance – Bill Mikula and John Kobland will draft a Stream-Corridor Ordinance for review at the December meeting.

Dave Stout advised that he recently attended the Clean Water Council and provided a copy of a notice from the NJDEP regarding its proposed rule establishing riparian zones.  Bill will contact the NJDEP for more information.

Tom Patterson will submit the quarterly ERI update to ANJEC by November 15, 2005.

Pete is in possession of the Gully Guards to be used for the storm drain inlets at the Presbyterian Church and school parking lots during car washes.

All EC members should think about additional volunteer projects for the list.

Soil Testing Kits – Tom Patterson provided the results of 12 additional soil test kits from Rutgers.

There being no further business, on motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the meeting was thereupon adjourned.
