NOTES
Cranbury Day preparations were discussed. The lot has been reserved for the table. An idea to display the storm drains decals
that indicate the where the water flows.
John will e-mail the EC to solicit their time and ideas. Pete has graphs, test sites and test data
results that will be displayed. John
will bring the table. Farmland
Preservation map is always a good giveaway.
John will ask Cathy for an updated map.
A copy of the Cranbury Brook Preserve draft ordinance will be displayed.
Anna took
the initiative to have her soil tested for $10. by the Rutgers. She brought in the results to show what they
looked like. She also thought this would
be an idea to display for Cranbury Day.
Anna will bring the Cranbury Press article pertaining to the Turtle
Project. If there are pictures with the
Girl Scouts applying the plaques, these should be displayed. She will supply the folding board for
display.
Tom
Patterson is responsible for the soil test information from Rutgers Coop
Extension.
John will bring the table along with 2 chairs.
Pete
checked the New Jersey Stormwater Regulations web site and informed EC that the
seminar for Middlesex County is not been scheduled. He volunteered to contact Tom Harvey
regarding this issue. Cranbury Township
will need to review the stormwater ordinance to be state compliant.
Pete sent
via email to Trishka, a newspaper article that he would like to have her review
before forwarding to the Press. She has
not responded, so Pete will forward Lisa Randazzi the article.
Hot Wok
application was reviewed, but with no environmental issues and not a quorum,
there will be no comment.
Eagles Scout Greg Bredariol is
proposing a post rail fence 100’ long along the north side of the West
Property. EC cannot comment until the
next meeting when a quorum is present.
Scout Service Projects Outline is on this evenings TC meeting. This outline will streamline the
committees/commissions that scout projects will need approval.
Jim
Golubieski informed EC that Recreation is seeking township property that would
be suitable for a skateboard area. It was
discussed and felt that a whole community plan and survey be completed to
determine what the needs of the community are.
An assessment survey was discussed earlier this year but this did not come
to fruition.
