Preserve Management Plan – The grant has been received from the Natural Resources Conservation Service. The Department of Public Works will start the work in May. Signs will need to be posted advising of the project. An announcement should also be posted on the Township website.
The grant contains a time line when certain items must be completed, which could be put on the volunteer project list. Barbara Rogers should be asked if she is willing to be the liaison for the Boy Scouts. John Kobland volunteered to help Barbara.
Kristen will ask Kathy Cunningham for a copy of the signed grant.
John Kobland contacted Jeff Hoagland, Director of Education of the Stonybrook-Millstone Watershed Association, who sent him an email advising of two programs being run this summer. It was suggested that the programs be advertised on the Township website.
Dietrich Wahlers updated the EC on the “Holland House”. Freehold Soil reviewed the remediation plan and responded with suggestions. Since the owner has failed to respond, a stop work order has been put in effect. Jim will check with Josette or Kathy for specifics of site plan approval, if any.
