WORK SESSION

Preserve Management Plan – Signs are available from the Natural Resources Conservation Service for the property.  Jim will get more information.

Stormwater Management Plan – Nothing new to report.  Dietrich will check the status.

Cranbury Day

·         Barbara is looking into a craft utilizing recyclable materials.

·         Paul provided a possible handout on florescent lighting.  He will condense it and send to the EC for review.

·         Paul will purchase up to $200.00 of florescent light bulbs to be given out.

·         Kristen will send an email soliciting volunteers.

Application - The Zoning Board asked the EC to review the application of Rajesh Wadhwa.  The report on file in the Zoning Office (“Beresford Soil Excavation Report” - Sadat, July 1988) was provided prior to the meeting.  Review of the report and correspondence provided to the EC indicated that a number of data gaps remained concerning the potential for soil and groundwater contamination associated with the former use of the property as a service station.  Dr. Wadhwa advised that additional studies were done and he will forward the results to the Commission.

DISCUSSION

Dietrich Wahlers updated the EC on the Holland House.  The owner appeared before the DRC seeking minor site plan approval and bulk variances.  The request was denied, as major site plan approval is needed.  The owner advised that the property is to be hydro seeded within two weeks.
