9. Work Session
a.
The project is anticipated to be complete and ready for service by 30 July 2004. There have been a number of delays attributed to the acquisition of easements. The original contract completion date was 24 April 2004 but the project site is not complete and there are a few outstanding sections of work.
b. Public
Hearing Municipally Approved Eight Year Program (Henry Realty Co. LLC,
Under the Municipally Approved Eight Year Program, the farmland owner agrees to restrict nonagricultural development for a period of eight years in exchange for certain benefits. The benefits include grants for soil and water conservation projects and protections from nuisance complaints, zoning changes, and eminent domain actions. The Middlesex County Agriculture Development Board and the Cranbury Township Planning Board has approved the petition of Henry Realty, LLC. The Township has notified owners with 200 feet and must hold a public meeting, and if appropriate pass a resolution approving the petition.

NJDOT Municipal Aid Application (Cathy Marcelli)
The
Township has been extremely successful in receiving funding from this program.
The Cranbury Neck Road Sidewalk (to include application for additional discretionary aid) and

The Recreation Commission developed the Senior Census as an information gathering tool to learn about the issues that concern the Senior citizens of Cranbury. The census was mailed to all the township residents in the Spring Newsletter.
